We manage our bookings with a system called Setmore.

Terms & Conditions

BOOKINGS

Times and dates are subject to availability and approval of Rhinocorn Studio. Rhinocorn Studio reserve the right to refuse and reschedule any booking.

Rhinocorn Studio reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time with or without prior notice or explanations. Any booking that is cancelled by Rhinocorn Studio would not be chargeable to the artist/band. A minimum booking of two hours is required for rehearsals.

CANCELLATION POLICY

48 hours’ notice is required for the cancellation or alteration of a booked session without charge; this includes weekends and bank holidays. If a session is cancelled or altered with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full cost of the session will be charged.

This cancellation charge will be waived at the discretion of Rhinocorn Studio if the session is rescheduled at the time of cancellation for a slot within 5 days of the original booking.

Allowances for cancellations due to extreme circumstances are made at the discretion of Rhinocorn Studio. 

PAYMENTS

Payments are to be made at the time of booking. This is to minimise contact from gathering in the reception and allow us to clean rooms. Bookings are fully refundable when cancelled more than 48 hours before the time.

If you want to book in bulk, just drop us an email. You don’t need to pay for all sessions at once – we can set up an invoice at the start of each month. Bulk bookings are non-refundable, but you can move booked dates within the month as long as Rhinocorn Studio is given 48 hours notice. We are no longer accepting cash. Late payment or non-payments will lead to an additional fee, and refusal to pay may lead to prosecution. 

REFUNDS

Bands/Artists are responsible to pay in full for the time slots in which they have booked their rehearsal session for. Sessions can be shortened or extended if room is available but is subject to agreement by a Rhinocorn Studio. No refunds or reduction in payment would be eligible if rehearsals are shortened. Extended sessions would be subject to full payment of the normal hourly rates for every hour over your allocated time slot. 

EQUIPMENT

Only equipment listed on our website for a specific room can be guaranteed to be available. If you require a certain piece of equipment that is NOT listed in your rehearsal room on our website, please advise Rhinocorn Studio in advance of your booking, and if available a member of staff will organise this equipment for your rehearsal slot. Priority will be given to equipment assigned to its specific room. We ask singers to bring their own microphones to reduce the spread of germs. 

FILE STORAGE

All live and audio recording and photography files may be deleted from Rhinocorn Studios hard drives 6 months after project completion unless otherwise specified. Rhinocorn Studios reserves the right to use all live, audio and photography files in the future, without further permission from the artist/band involved. 

BEHAVIOUR

Please wait outside until your allotted rehearsal slot to give us time to swap rooms over and disinfect equipment. 

SUPERVISION

Musicians aged 17 years and under must be accompanied to the Studio with a responsible parent or guardian who must stay at Rhinocorn Studio for the duration of the booking.  

ROOM SETUP

Every room has got a standard setup with. You are welcome to rearrange the room but at the end of the rehearsal please reset the room as it was. If any equipment is missing please inform a member of staff before your session starts. 

GEAR HIRE

Each studio includes a free backline of gear. If you require any additional gear, please speak a member of staff to open the storage cupboard for you. Any gear used should be left in the room, you don’t need to bring it back to the reception. 

SETUP AND PACKING UP

Setup and packing up times has to be fitted in the range of hours you booked! If you need longer in the studio, please ask at the reception first. Rhinocorn Studio reserves the right to charge extra should a band/artist run over their allocated time slot. 

DAMAGES

Any damage to studio or its equipment due to misuse and abuse will be charged to the band/individual. All rooms are to be left in the condition they are first hired. Refusal to pay for breakages or damage will lead to exclusion and prosecution. If an item of equipment is damaged or missing at the start of your session, please report it to the management immediately. 

PERSONAL GOODS

Personal items/lost property Please make sure that you do not leave personal items unattended and ensure that you take all of your belongings with you when you leave. Rhinocorn Studio is not responsible for any items that are lost or damaged on the premises. 

SMOKING

Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the studio complex. If you take a smoking break please move away from the studio and gym entrances and always put finished cigarettes in a bin. 

DRUGS

The studio operates a zero tolerance policy on drugs. If you are suspected of or found to be in possession of ANY CLASS of drugs on the premises, you will be asked to leave and reported to the police. 

FOOD/DRINKS

You are permitted to bring your own food and drink into your rehearsal room, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your rehearsals; but please be sensible! Items of food/drink must not be placed on any of the equipment under any circumstances. Any damage caused to studio equipment due to spillages and negligence with food and drink will be charged as per our damages policy above. Please help us to keep the rehearsal rooms tidy by placing any rubbish in the bins provided. 

RUBBISH

Broken drumsticks are a hazard to other room users and studio equipment. If you break a drumstick, please make sure that you put it in the bin before you leave. Please help us to keep the rehearsal rooms tidy by placing any rubbish in the bins provided.

Coronavirus Update

Social distancing in the studio

  • Maximum of 6 musicians per rehearsal.

  • ​Musicians should wait outside or in their cars if they arrive early, and enter the studio only at the time of their booking.

  • Please use as much of your own equipment as possible: the less shared gear the better – singers please bring your own microphone if you can (and if you don’t have one, now might be a good time to invest – singing causes the most amount of germ spreading!)

  • The Chill Out room should be used to enable social distancing in the corridor – please move into the chill out room to allow space for people leaving the studio.

  • ​​Musicians are asked wear masks in communal areas of studio (reception, corridor, and kitchen).

  • Once in rehearsal rooms musicians (especially singers and brass instruments) should face the mirror where possible, rather than facing each other.

  • There will be hand sanitizer in the reception area and kitchen area, please help yourself!

  • Rehearsal room handles and communal equipment will be cleaned with anti-bacterial spray between bookings.

  • Anti-bacterial handwash will be available in the kitchen and toilet.
